Delete your MintMetric account
You can start account deletion in the app or contact us here.
Delete in the app
Open MintMetric, go to Settings, and choose Delete Account. The app asks you to sign in again before accepting the request. Account deletion has a 30-day grace period; signing in during that period cancels the server-side deletion. After the app confirms acceptance, it immediately and irreversibly erases this device's local vault, including local-only holdings and photos. Signing back in can restore only server or cloud data that still exists, and encrypted cloud data may require your sync passphrase.
Request deletion without the app
Email us from the address associated with your MintMetric account at privacy@mintmetric.app. Use the subject "MintMetric account deletion request." We may ask for information needed to verify that you control the account before beginning deletion.
What the request covers
The request covers your MintMetric account, associated server-side data, and the local vault on the device that submits the in-app request. Other devices erase their local data only when they receive and process the account-deletion boundary. App-store subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google and must be cancelled in the applicable store.
Our privacy policy explains the deletion process, grace period, data removed, and narrowly retained records in detail.
Once the purge removes the authentication user, you may create a new account with the same email address. It is a new account and does not restore the deleted account, its local vault, or purged cloud data.
